Covid-19 Precautions
We are doing our part to minimize the spread of the corona virus, but keep in mind that Polarity Therapy is a touch therapy and involves contact with the physical body. If you are uncomfortable in anyway with that, please do not schedule an appointment.
Covid Precautions
What I have done and will do:
- I have always had high standards for cleanliness, however, extra time will be taken between clients to allow for more disinfection procedures with EPA registered disinfectants for coronavirus.
- We will both be wearing masks. For hygienic reasons, I will provide you with a new complimentary disposable mask. I am using a Z-Shield mask which allows you to see my face but prevents my breathing on you. I can also wear a disposable mask underneath if it makes you feel more comfortable. My reusable mask will be changed (I have two) and disinfected between clients.
- I will be using a hand sanitizer often during the session, especially when I move from the feet to the face or vice versa. I will try to mitigate the smell with an essential oil but it may still smell like hand sanitizer.
- I will be using disposable bags in the foot bath which will be changed with each client.
- I will be wearing an apron or different covering with each client and changing to a new one to prevent the spread of the virus from a previous client's clothes to my clothes and then to you.
- I will still offer the tea service. Cups will be washed and sanitized in my onsite sanitizer. Dirty cups will be placed in a basket away from the clean to avoid cross contamination.
- Laundry is placed in a covered laundry basket.
I will do and am doing everything I can to prevent the spread of corona virus in my office and ask the you also follow a few guidelines.
Client Responsibilities
What I will ask of you:
1. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been around anyone experiencing symptoms, please cancel your appointment right away (without penalty).
Upon arrival , I will check your temperature and ask these few questions.
- Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 or above?
- Do you now, or have you recently had any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat or shortness of breath?
- Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms?
2. If you answer yes to any of the above questions, we will reschedule your appointment. As always, if you are not feeling well in any way, we ask that you let us know right away and cancel your appointment without penalty.
3. Please do wear a mask to enter the building. The lobby is shared with other businesses and you may encounter others. Even though I will provide a new mask for the session, one is required to enter the building.
4. Where possible, please book and pay for services online.
5. Please come alone, however, if you do require assistance, your helper may come but after rendering assistance will need to wait in the car or come back to get you. We are trying to minimize clients in the waiting room.
6. Please use the restroom in the lobby to wash your hands before coming into the office.
